Angel Petropanagos received her Ph.D. in philosophy from The University of Western Ontario, with specializations in bioethics and feminist theory in 2013. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in bioethics at Novel Tech Ethics, in the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University. Currently, she is a Clinical Ethics Resident at William Osler Health System and a Research Associate at Novel Tech Ethics. Angel is the Managing Editor for Impact Ethics, an online forum for bioethical commentaries and discussion. In addition, she is the co-chair for the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society’s Ethics and Law Special Interest Group, the Canada Representative for the International Network for Feminist Approaches to Bioethics, and the Fundraising Officer for the Canadian Bioethics Society. Angel has published on a variety of topics, including assisted reproduction and medical assistance in dying. She regularly contributes to the review and development of policy and guideline documents and provides freelance ethics consultation support to fertility clinics.
